Bhujapidasana Prequisites

At The Yoga Shala Rawai Phuket, Bhujapidasana is one of the first arm balance postures, along with Bakasana, that beginner students are introduced to.

While it does require some strength, more importantly it requires flexibility to get the body into position.

In this video, Jason demonstrates some prerequisite postures from Ashtanga Vinyasa Hatha Yoga that when accomplished, will help students get the body into Bhujapidasana much easier.
