Bakasana

Bakasana or Crane/Crow Pose is one the first (if not the first) arm balance postures that many Yoga students (including students at the Yoga Shala Rawai) get introduced to.

I personally like it a lot. It is difficult but accessible to most everyone, if they are diligent and practice consistently.

Many beginners set this as a goal to achieve in their first year of practice. If you click on the following link you will see some Bakasana Progressions.

There are other prerequisite postures of course, as well as things to avoid. But for those you will have to come to class. ;)

See you soon.
